Fish Whisperer - Willis Edition with Southwest beads going to its namesake . . .

Chuck W. of Texas ordered this Southwestern style Willis Edition lanyard.

Chuck is the original designer of the Willis Edition lanyard. I have made more Willis Edition lanyards than any other style. He came up with a really good idea.

I have shipped this lanyard style to people all over the country, but the western states fisher folks seem to like it best.




Matched lanyard set going to Colorado . .

Brian D. of Colorado ordered this matching set of lanyards.

He wanted a 6 swivel lanyard and a 4 swivel lanyard using the Tiberias and Gracie models as a guide.

So, I built him a matching set with Southwestern beads. Both have horizontal tippet holders.

Rasta "Dead Head" lanyard . . .

New fishing friend, John C., asked me to take a Rasta Edition lanyard and "Dead Head" it with orange cord and chrome clips.

Fans of the Greatful Dead are some of the best!

Instead of using black wood beads, I used blue.

New fishing friend, Phil H. of Roanoke, Virginia, asked me to make him this lanyard for him, using 3 lobster claw clips at the bottom, including a 7th connector between the shirt clips.

Rasta Edition Lanyard sold . . . going to "Big D"

This Rasta Edition lanyard was requested by a fellow fisherman in Wyoming. However, I have not heard back from him. So I advertised that it was available.

3 lanyards to Boston, MA


Stephen M. of Boston, MA asked me to make him 3 lanyards, one using a darker colored set of featured beads that I was able to find at my craft store a while back.

One lanyard is for Stephen. The other two are for fishing friends. Hopefully these lanyards will help make some fondly remembered fishing memories.

New Wilson Creek Lanyard on it's way to North Carolina . . .

New fishing friend, Bob H. of Connecticut asked me to make this special lanyard, which he named the Wilson Creek Lanyard. It was a Christmas present for his daughter in North Carolina.

Fishing was a family endeavor for my family in my childhood. I hope this lanyard helps create many new adventures for a father and daughter.

Fish Whisperer - Razorback Edition going to Arkansas . . .

New fishing friend, Allan S. of Pocahontas, AR ordered this lanyard that he named the "Razorback."

It came out pretty well, I think!

Good fishing Allan. I enjoy fishing the King's River in Arkansas just north and east of Eureka Springs. Some good smallmouth bass are taken on fly from that river. Hope you catch a trophy soon!

New fishing friend, Joe C. of San Rafael, CA ordered this Fish Whisperer-Willis Edition lanyard, but added special clips at the bottom, and additional swivel connectors at the top.

Yep, that's 8 connection points. This lanyard will carry as much as you want.

Custom lanyard going to West Virginia . . .

I am proud of this lanyard.

New fishing friend, Robert S. of Charles Town, WV, ordered this custom Fish Whisperer model with black and green beads and several clear ambler beads.

I threw in two special swivel clips at the bottom positions.

This is a completely functional fly fishing lanyard, but I would be tempted to put it in a shadow box and hang it on the wall!

New fishing friend, Rudy D. of St. Louis, MO ordered this Hildebrand Model lanyard with tippet holder.

I made this lanyard about the time the Cardinals were beating our Texas Rangers in game 7 of the World Series.

Good fishing Rudy! And congrats to the St. Louis Cardinals. They deserve to be MLB World Series Champions.

GS Outfitting Lanyard on it way to Maryland . . .

Chris T. of Worcester, MA asked me to make him a GS Outfitting lanyard.


This lanyard was designed by Eric Gass, a professional outfitter/fly fisherman. This lanyard is an excellent design if you are drifting in a boat, or fishing from a kayak.

Tom asked me to make him 2 Kiwi Edition lanyards and 2 Fish Whisperer's, one in brown feature beads and one with turquoise feature beads.



Most of the folks, in recent weeks, who have requested I make them a lanyard have been from Washington state. I hope they are enjoying better weather and fishing that we have had here in Texas this summer. Today is our 67 day of 100+ degree temperatures.

Fish Whisperer - Willis Edition Tan/Turquoise shipping to Washington State . . .

New fishing friend, Bobby A. of Chewelah, WA asked me to make him this Fish Whisperer-Willis Edition lanyard with tan and turquoise beads.


The Fish Whisperer-Willis Edition has been my most requested lanyard over the past two years. Easily customizable, with room for whatever you want to carry.



Combine a fly fishing lanyard with something like an Orvis fly fishing bag, and you have a great minimalist system.

New "Snoaqualmie Basin" Model headed to Washington State . . .

New fishing friend, Michael R. of Sammamish, WA asked me to make him a darker colored version of the Horn Island model . . . and called it the Snoqualmie Basin Model in honor of the area he likes to fish.

The floats are Durafoam, which holds it's shape really well, and can be used as dry fly holders.

Here is a work up on a Horn Island model lanyard with black and turquoise beads that a new fishing friend asked me to make for him. I am waiting for his approval before finishing it up and shipping it out.

Modified Willis Edition on it's way to Virginia . . .

Yet another new fishing friend, Brian A. of Harrisonburg, VA asked me to make him this all black and silver modified Fish Whisperer-Willis Edition lanyard.


Brian chose to go with only 4 snap swivels and one shirt clip.



I hope this lanyard bring lots of good luck to Brian's fishing endeavors in the coming months.

GS Outfitter lanyard (modified) going to Washington state . . .

New fishing friend, Matt E. from Tacoma, WA asked if I would make him this modified GS Outfitter style lanyard with a verticle tippet holder. Matt chose to have only 4 swivel connectors.


I think this lanyard will become popular with outfitters who spend time guiding out of a raft or row type boat.
